H. D. Carlton Has Already Teased What’s After Hollow Graves

H. D. Carlton is already teasing what comes after Hollow Graves.

Update, September 18 An account identifying itself as H. D. Carlton’s PA has since commented that Sibby’s duet is not next in line and is currently on hold, with no timeline, after reader pressure over the release date led Carlton to take it off her public board for now. I’m leaving the original post below as written and flagging this update here rather than rewriting history.

The Hollow Graves Duet isn’t even a month old, and there’s already a next thing.

H. D. Carlton has announced a new duology built around a character named Sibby. That’s genuinely the whole announcement, no titles, no covers, no release window, just confirmation that it exists and a name to watch for. Carlton’s track record makes this worth flagging early even with nothing else to go on: Hollow Graves ran nearly 750 pages and closed out at spice 1 of 5, a real departure from what most readers expect from her, so whatever Sibby’s story turns out to be, I’m not assuming anything about tone or heat level going in.

This post exists purely to mark the moment. I’ll come back with an actual angle, cover, premise, spice scale, the works, the second there’s something real to say. For now: noted, watched, and added to the list of things I’m not going to shut up about the moment it drops.
