Rina Kent’s 2027 Starts With Two Releases Four Weeks Apart

On my radar · Release dates

Rina Kent has two books landing four weeks apart in early 2027.

Two dates for the calendar, both from Penguin’s Evermore imprint.

Consumed by Deception is out January 5, 2027. It is the closing book of the Deception Trilogy, a 368-page paperback, so anyone who has been reading the series in order finally gets the ending.

Empire of Hate follows on February 2, 2027, in eBook and paperback. It belongs to the Empire series and is listed as a complete standalone. The listing says outright that no other books need to be read first, which makes it the easy way in if the trilogy isn’t your thing.

Four weeks is a short gap for an author with this much back catalogue. A finale for the people already here, then a clean entry point for new readers, is a tidy way to open a year.

Both dates come from Penguin’s own retail listings, so I’d treat them as firm until a publisher notice says otherwise. If a second Empire title turns up, I’ll add it here once more than one source agrees on it.
