Devney Perry Reveals Seven and the Swift, the Shield of Sparrows Finale

Devney Perry has named the last book in the trilogy: Seven and the Swift.

The cover is a deep crimson ground with peonies, bare branches and an ornate battle-axe, and a tagline across the top: “Fight for the monster you love.” It is a good match for a series that has been building toward this one.

Seven and the Swift is the third and final book in the Shield of Sparrows series, following Shield of Sparrows and Rites of the Starling. It is out March 9, 2027, at 656 pages, from Entangled’s Red Tower Books in the US and Penguin Books in the UK.

There is also a deluxe limited edition, available while supplies last. It is a limited first print run, offered in the US and Canada only, so collectors will want to move early.

I am not going to say anything about where the story goes, because the announcement does not and I would rather not guess. What matters now is the date. March 9 gives you five months to catch up on the first two books if you have not read them.
