Cassandra Clare’s The Last King of Faerie comes out on November 3, 2026. It is book one of The Wicked Powers, the closing trilogy of the Shadowhunter world that began with The Mortal Instruments.

Drusilla Blackthorn’s time at the Shadowhunter Academy turns into a kidnapping after a chance meeting at a nightclub, and she ends up held prisoner by Prince Ash Morgenstern in Faerie. That is the premise as retailers list it.

The US edition is listed with Knopf Books for Young Readers, and the date matches across the UK, US and Australian listings I checked. Page counts differ between listings, so I left the length out.
