Hallowed Bones by Lucy Smoke Is Out Now

Hallowed Bones by Lucy Smoke came out on October 6 and opens a new series.

Hallowed Bones is book one of the Sons of Salem series. Haven Wardwell is a witch who gets warned off four cursed heirs at an Ipswich college, which in this genre reads as a promise more than a warning. Smart Bitches Trashy Books files it as dark why-choose.

It was published by St. Martin’s on October 6, 2026. Macmillan lists a luxe edition with printed edges, and an audiobook is listed too. A separate UK edition from HQ also has an October 6 date.

Page counts differ from retailer to retailer, so I’m leaving that number out until one source settles it.

I haven’t read it. This is a heads-up for anyone who tracks why-choose and witch romance and missed the release week. If you read it, tell me whether the college setting earns the curse.
