Fourth Wing’s Prime Video Leads Are Reported: Esther McGregor and Emilio Sakraya

TheWrap reports that Prime Video’s Fourth Wing series has cast its two leads.

On October 15, TheWrap reported that Esther McGregor will play Violet Sorrengail and Emilio Sakraya will play Xaden Riorson in Prime Video’s adaptation of Rebecca Yarros’s Fourth Wing. McGregor played Mirren in We Were Liars. Sakraya’s credits include Warrior Nun and Those About to Die.

Meredith Averill, who worked on The Haunting of Hill House, is showrunner and executive producer. Lisa Joy of Westworld is set to direct the first episode. Michael B. Jordan is also named as an executive producer.

Amazon declined to comment to TheWrap, and the report is not an official announcement. Some outlets cover it as confirmed and others as reported, so I am treating it as reported until Prime Video says so itself. The report gives no start of filming and no release date.

If you already have a Xaden in your head, tell me who it is.
